The book I read was called "Blink Once". In the book we meet this boy named West. West is a very outgoing person. One day West and his friends went to go for a bike ride and West decided to show off and do a cool trick on his bike, when he fell and ended up being paralyzed. Throughout the book its talks about the rough times he has and the difficulties he is facing from the incident. I personally enjoyed this book because it had a lot of conflicts. One other thing I loved about the book was that every time there was a conflict in the book you would want to continue to read and read. I like this in a book because you don't ever get tired of the book because it has conflicts that keep you thinking.
The conflict in my book was that this girl named Olivia was on the other side of the room where West was staying and Olivia would listen and closely analyze what West would be doing or talking about. Another main conflict in the book would be in the beginning of the story because everything happened because of something West did which was try to act cool in front of his friends. If West were to never do that there probably wouldn't be a lot of conflicts throughout the book.
What is this type of conflict called? Be specific. Also, where is your theme?
